· Complete daily tasks and assignments under the direction of fire officers of the assigned fire and rescue team.
· Ensure that inquiries and complaints regarding fire department activities or responsibilities are handled promptly, efficiently, effectively and with courtesy.
· Maintain a respectful work environment by demonstrating positive workplace behavior.
· Attend required meetings including daily start-of-shift meetings.
· Participate in fire and rescue training.
· Perform inspections and maintenance of fire, rescue, and EMS apparatus, equipment, and other client assets.
· Keep up to date with site-specific fire and rescue guidelines and procedures, medical protocols, rescue plans, and pre-incident plans.
· Document and report any incidents involving equipment or personnel.
· Participate in drills, inspections, and all other site safety-related duties as assigned
· Participate in emergency response services as required

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
• 1 year of firefighting experience
• NFPA 1001 Level 2
• NFPA 1072 or 472 Hazardous Materials Response - Operations Level (minimum)
• NFPA 1002 Driver Operator
• NFPA 1006 High Angle Rescue - Operations Level (minimum) or NFPA 1006 Confined Space Rescue - Operations Level (minimum)
• ICS 100, 200
• Alberta Class 4 Drivers License (or equivalent to Alberta Class 4)
Preference for:
• Experience in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
• Hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same
Where you'll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
• You will work out of our camp-based client sites. Accommodations & meals provided
• 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotational schedule
• Flights are covered or a travel allowance is provided
• Shifts are 12 hours (must be available for all potential shifts, including nights)
• On-call and extended hours may be required after hours when operational and business requirements indicate
