The team at Vivo Dental Currie Barracks in Calgary, AB is looking for a passionate and dedicated Associate Dentist on a part-time basis. This role involves taking over an existing patient schedule with the opportunity for growth as you establish yourself within our practice.

The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of dental services with the highest quality of care to ensure our patients have a positive, rewarding experience and leave with a smile. The Ideal Associate for our team and practice is skilled in helping patients feel at ease and comfortable, can clearly communicate with both patients and coworkers, and work independently as needed.

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Thursday OR Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 1-2 Saturdays per month: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • This schedule is in place, with the possibility of expansion as you become established with the practice.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, OR successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
  • Registered or in processing of registering with the:
    • Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta
  • Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of Alberta
  • 2 years of experience in practicing dentistry in Canada is required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients' families
