Registered Dental Hygienist - Panatella Dental

Panatella Dental, a busy family practice in northwest Calgary, is looking for a part time dental hygienist to add to our phenomenal team of dental professionals!

Job Overview:

Join our team in northwest Calgary as a dedicated Dental Hygienist. As a key member of our clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional oral care to our patients. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about oral health, possesses strong leadership skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Schedule:

• Part time schedule.
• Evenings and weekends are required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning under the supervision of the dentist.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices.
• Assist in the assessment and treatment planning for patients' oral health needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes using Dentrix software.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination.
• Uphold infection control protocols and sterilization procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Act as a liaison between patients and the dental office, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Currently registered or in process of registering with the:
  • College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA)
• Previous experience working in a clinical setting as a Dental Hygienist an asset, new grads are encouraged to apply!
• Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
