Our south-side Ortho practice - Towne Square Orthodontics is looking for an additional Full Time Registered Dental Assistant with their Ortho Module to join our team.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday 7:45am - 4:30 pm
  • Approximately 33 hours per week

Key Qualities We Are Looking For

  • Completion of a certified/registered Dental Assisting Level II course is REQUIRED
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is an asset
  • Completion of your Orthodontic module is beneficial, however we are looking for the right fit for our office and would be willing to train, provided you have 1-2 years experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Must be registered with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants
  • Great hand dexterity
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with a dental practice management software such as Tops Ortho
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Positive, friendly, outgoing, people person
  • Customer service mindset
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Team player
  • Organized, professional, and detail oriented
  • Able to prioritize and work in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Self motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and excel
