Cancer Care Alberta (CCA) is currently searching for a Physiotherapist I (PTI) to join our team at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre (GPCC). Our state-of-the-art cancer care centre provides specialized, local cancer treatment and rehabilitation services to patients in northern Alberta. The PTI will thrive within a supportive, interdisciplinary oncology team that is dedicated to ensuring safe, efficient, evidence-based, patient and family-centered, outpatient rehabilitative care. The PTI is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients as well as development, implementation and evaluation of treatment programs according to professional practice standards, program development and evaluation, student supervision and staff education.
Our team of passionate health care professionals are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer by providing comprehensive support and care from the time of cancer diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond by leaders in cancer diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and palliative care. Specifically, you will join a progressive team of Allied Health Professionals that include OT, PT, SLP, TA’s and more that continuously collaborate to provide the best care for patients and have opportunities for ongoing mentorship. Please note there can be flexibility in scheduling, working hours or FTE for this position that also meets operational requirements.
