The role

We are adding a customer service-oriented, results-driven Store Manager to our team in Lethbridge. You will take ownership of the financial success, people management, administration, sales and service of your location. You will play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly, assisting our Regional Manager with the management and leadership of all aspects of the business and the execution of policies and procedures.

How you will spend your days:

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment with a focus on team wins. You will coach, guide, and assist your team whenever needed. You will inspire a focus on customer experience and foster collaboration. Every day, you will remove roadblocks, manage pressure points, work alongside them, and maintain open communication. You will lead daily huddles, motivating and empowering the team to exceed expectations.
  • Administration. You will assist the Regional Manager in the overall development and execution of the strategic plan. You will support the data and reporting function, maintain our client database, order office supplies, and meet the overall needs of the store and office.
  • Support sales. You will drive collective efforts to exceed overall store sales performance targets. You will confirm rates, follow up on leads, and be aware of overdue agreements. You will ensure all equipment is secure, in good condition, and delivered on time.
  • Promote and prioritize customer service. You will respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, acting as a Motion ambassador. You will ensure the needs of our clients are met and be a point of escalation, navigating conflicts to resolve issues quickly.

What you bring:

  • Experience. You have progressive experience in a retail, branch, or service environment leading up to a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager role. You have exposure across all facets of a retail environment, including staffing, scheduling, marketing, sales promotions, sales management, inventory control, administration, and finance. You can balance competing demands, meet deadlines, and change priorities as needed.
  • People management skills. You have experience leading teams and you bring strong values of respect, responsiveness and an outstanding work ethic with you. You are empathetic, patient and service-oriented, with conflict management skills. You can build trust and influence decisions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with internal and external teams to grow business and satisfy our customers. You have flexible and professional communication skills. You are comfortable initiating conversations on the phone, by email, or in person.
  • Technical Skills. You are experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and can come up to speed on new software programs.
  • Additional must-have requirements. You have a clean criminal background check and are bondable. You can lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
