We are now hiring a Family Engagement Worker (Stepping Stones). This individual must actively be pursuing a vibrant relationship with Jesus. The Family Engagement Worker will minister to young parenting mothers and their families involved in the Sylvan Lake CAYU Stepping Stones program. They will work alongside other family engagement workers. We are looking for an individual who enjoys building community connections and will help strengthen relationships in the Sylvan Lake community.
Under the direction of the Family Engagement Director, Family Engagement Ministry Staff are empowered to:
Support the Stepping Stones ministry through evangelism and discipleship, providing guidance and support to participants, and assisting in the development and implementation of weekly programming.
Work in the community and surrounding churches to build awareness of the Stepping Stones program. Develop community connections, engage with potential participants, recruit volunteers and develop donor relationships for the Sylvan Lake programming.
Meet with the Family Engagement Director and Sylvan Lake Team Lead regularly, attend staff meetings, and pray for other staff.
Participate in recruiting and in the orientation of volunteers. Provide prayer support, resources and encouragement for volunteer staff.
Participate in fundraising for the Stepping Stones ministry and your personal deputation account by maintaining healthy donor relationships and assisting with all Youth Unlimited Fundraising events.
