Leader, Patient Safety, Quality & Accreditation - Radiation Therapy

This unique role will co-lead Quality, Safety and Accreditation initiatives Provincially in Systemic Therapy. You will be working in a complex and dynamic multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with medical and operational leadership, staff, Indigenous Health team, patients, and families, to ensure that BC Cancer patients and families receive the best care, every day. This role is integral to supporting a timely patient safety event review process and will support, and/or lead the implementation of Quality and Patient safety initiatives and accreditation requirements. This role involves remote work; however, the individual must be within the vicinity of a regional BC Cancer Centre to work on site as required.
The Leader, Patient Safety, Quality and Accreditation (PSQA) assists the Executive Director and Senior Executive Director with planning, implementing, coordinating and monitoring program-specific, population based quality and performance improvement programs, focusing on maintaining an environment of continuous improvement. Works in collaboration with Quality, Safety, and Risk Management at PHSA and clinical and administrative leaders and staff within and across BCCA to prioritize improvement projects, and develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the process.

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time
Salary Range: $88,990 - $127,923.The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate's relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.
Location: Provincial Position which involves remote work; however, the candidate must be within the vicinity of a regional BC Cancer Centre to work on-site as required.
