Burnaby Hospital is seeking a full time Infectious Diseases Specialist to provided consultative inpatient and Home IV/OPAT care. The successful candidate will join our team of two other ID specialists, working in collaboration with the regional infectious diseases network. The candidate will also collaborate with hospitalists, internal medicine specialists and other specialties.

- FRCPC Infectious Diseases
- CPSBC Full (Eligible for Full License)
Compensation:
- Fee-for-service MOCAP - on call payments.
- Sessional - for non-billable Home IV services.
Burnaby Hospital is a 279 bed community hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrical, psychiatric and tertiary palliative care. There are 24/7 ER services provided with 79 500 annual visits. Burnaby Hospital is undergoing a multi-year redevelopment project occurring in two phases that will transform almost every area of the hospital. Phase one estimated date of completion in 2025 which includes a mental health and substance use unit, maternity unit, neonatal ICU and new medicine unit. By the time the expansion is projected to complete in 2028, there will be an additional 243 beds.

It is a 30-40 minute drive to downtown Vancouver and a 30 minute commute to the communities of North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
