We are recruiting for an experienced Multimedia Content Manager professional to join our growing Marketing team. This role can be based in our Corporate head office - Burnaby. This is an on-site position.

Job Overview:

The Multimedia Content Manager plays a critical role within the marketing team, reporting directly to the Junior Marketing Director, National Campaigns & Production. This position is essential in driving the organization's multimedia strategy and execution, ensuring that high-quality content is developed to support marketing campaigns and enhance brand engagement.

In this role, the manager will oversee and execute a variety of multimedia projects, including video production, podcast creation, and photography. They will connect with both internal departments and external audiences, fostering a cohesive and impactful marketing presence. Additionally, they will actively be responsible in contributing to projects where necessary, stepping in to provide support and deliver as needed.

The manager will be also responsible for identifying, vetting, and managing relationships with external vendors and agency partners to secure top-quality resources for multimedia initiatives. Through effective project management, they will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. They serve as a brand ambassador for 123Dentist, ensuring excellence and satisfaction among our practices and patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Actively responsible and contribute to multimedia production by managing and executing projects, including shooting and editing video content.

• Oversee the end-to-end production of podcasts, encompassing planning, recording, soundboard operation, and post-production editing to deliver high-quality results.
• Ensure professional audiovisual (AV) standards, focusing on soundboard management and audio clarity during recording sessions.
• Take ownership of video production tasks, including directing, editing, and delivering content, while managing external vendors or freelance support as needed.
• Lead multimedia production projects from concept to completion—including video shoots, podcasts, and photography sessions—balancing project management with hands-on execution and creative involvement.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure external vendors and agency partners to enhance multimedia production quality and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects stay within scope while proactively managing risks.
• Coordinate logistics for multimedia projects, including location scouting, talent bookings, and equipment procurement, to streamline production processes.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align multimedia content with campaign objectives and brand messaging, driving engagement and impact.
• Conduct production meetings to establish expectations, provide guidance, and ensure alignment across all team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Organize and maintain multimedia assets with proper documentation and accessibility for future use.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges, offering innovative solutions to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality output.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously improve multimedia production processes and content quality.
• Mentor and guide team members in multimedia production and project management, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years in multimedia production, including video production, podcasting, and photography.
• 5+ years in end-to-end project management.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• A high level of creativity is a must.
• Understanding of marketing principles.
• Proactive and capable of independently advancing projects, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Possesses strong end-to-end project management skills with a track record of handling complex projects.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills, effectively presenting and articulating marketing concepts and ideas.
• Proficiency in multimedia editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Audacity) and familiarity with various production equipment.
• Proficient in computer and software skills, including standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to resolve challenges swiftly and excellent conflict management skills.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal direct management.
• Results-driven, proactive self-starter with strong analytical skills, organization, and focus.
• Detail-oriented and client-oriented approach, ensuring excellence in communication and customer service.
