Dental Administrator - My Tsawwassen Dentist

Conveniently located in South Delta, My Tsawwassen Dentist has been serving the community for almost 30 years. We offer a wide range of dental services, including preventative hygiene, general and cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics, oral surgery, and much more.

Schedule:

Full-time hours

Monday to Friday, one Saturday per month (flexible)

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them

• Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps

• Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database

• Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations

• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts

The wage range is from $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

About You:

• Minimum 1 year of administration experience

• Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset. Experience with Maxident is an asset, but not required. Maxident training will be provided.

• Must be a reliable team player - we have a tenured team of long standing employees and we are excited to welcome a new administrator to join us!

• Strong multi-tasker as we are a well established and very fast pace office

• Must be comfortable working in a practice with paper charts
