The team at Dr. A. M. Kahane Dental located in Fernie, BC is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a full-time basis.

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

We pride ourselves on our close-knit, family oriented team. We are a busy office offering general dentistry, Endodontics specialty, and Orthodontics. We are looking for the right fit to our fantastic team. The right candidate will be cross-trained into Administration and will work in both the clinical and the reception areas. SCHEDULE:

• 32-40 hrs per week
• Monday through Saturday (Saturdays are once per 6 weeks with the Orthodontist with a mid-week day off, Fridays may alternate)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting certificate
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • BC College of Oral Health Professionals
• New graduates welcome
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s) and willing to license in BC
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Cleardent is considered an asset
• Ortho Module is considered an asset, but not required
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
