The Fraser Health Authority (FHA) Midwifery Division within the Regional Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is pleased to announce vacancies for provisional privileges for midwives at several sites across Fraser Health. The following sites have available vacancies this year.

- Burnaby General Hospital
- Chilliwack General Hospital
- Langley Memorial Hospital
- Peace Arch Hospital
- Surrey Memorial Hospital
- Ridge Meadows Hospital
- Royal Columbian Hospital
Interested candidates should upload a copy of your CV and letter of interest. The deadline for applications is April 25, 2025. There will be no extensions. Interviews will be arranged as soon as possible. Anticipated start is July 1, 2025.
Members of the FHA Division of Midwifery are autonomous health care professionals and work in community-based clinics. Successful candidates must be eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives www.BCCNM.ca. They are required to maintain medical staff privileges through adherence to FHA Medical Staff Rules and Medical Staff Bylaws.
FHA medical staff members are expected to participate in Division committee work, attend regional division and local department meetings, as well as adhere to the mandatory vaccination policy as outlined in the Medical Staff Rules.
