We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Regional Division Head – Nuclear Medicine, within our Regional Department of Medical Imaging. The Division Head shall assist the Department Head in the management of the Division on the authority delegated by the Department Head.
As the successful candidate you have the following:
- Current licensure with CPSBC plus five (5) years of medical leadership experience or equivalent, with an interest in development of leadership expertise; Additional training in management is preferred.
- Physician licensed to practice in British Columbia with the eligibility for appointment as a member of the local site(s)
- Active staff member and Active member of Medical Imaging – Fraser Health Authority
- Effective, efficient, and reliable communication mechanisms with division members.
- Awareness of best practices and benchmarking within regional, provincial, and national organizations.
- Demonstrates the LEADS capabilities of Leads Self, Engages Others, Achieves Results, Develops Coalitions and supports Systems Transformation.
- Lead through coaching, guiding modeling key behaviours, and encouraging dialogue to create a respectful and motivating environment.
- Support quality improvement, utilization management, outcomes evaluation, and performance measurement.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows across the care continuum.
- Understanding of clinical information systems and other ancillary solutions is an asset.
- Experience with clinical informatics or digital technology in healthcare is an asset.
