The compensation per credit rate is $3,186.37, equaling $9,559.11 per 3 credit course.

The School of Nursing is seeking applicants to deliver the following course at the UBC Okanagan campus in Summers Terms 1 & 2, from May 12th to August 15th, 2025:

  • HINT 331: Nutrition for Health Sciences (3 credits)

  • Section 001: Tuesdays 1400-1700

Course Description: Introduction to the dietary requirements of nutrients and their related sources, metabolism, and functions. Nutrition in the context promoting health, preventing disease, and managing illness will be the focus, incorporating tools and knowledge about healthy food choices and dietary habits based on scientific evidence. Current nutritional issues will also be discussed.

This course is offered in person with up to 80 students. Online synchronous delivery of this course may be considered if no suitable candidates for in-person instruction.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree or PhD in dietetics or related health science with relevant university teaching experience. More information about the School of Nursing can be found at the UBCO School of Nursing website.
