We are seeking two full-time Anesthesiologists to join our department at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
Ridge Meadows Hospital (RMH) is located in the Maple Ridge (40 min from Vancouver) local health area (LHA), which comprises of two major municipalities, the district of Maple ridge and the city of Pitt meadows in the west along with a large unincorporated and sparsely populated area. The hospital’s catchment area covers a population of above 100,000 people.
Ridge Meadows Hospital is a community hospital providing primary and secondary acute care along with speciality services including 24/7 emergency, ambulatory day surgery, General and Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Dental Surgery (Paeds and Adults) 8 bedded ICU, Pharmacy, Imaging and a Medical lab, for both in-patient and out-patient needs. The site also offers a continuum of adult psychiatric and social services available on an in-patient and out-patient basis including provision of ECT services.
The successful candidates will join the department on a one in five call schedule. This position is available immediately.
Applicants must be eligible for FRCPC certification (Anesthesiology). All qualified candidates including international medical graduates are encouraged to apply.
RMH is a 171 bedded community hospital located at Maple Ridge BC. It is a fully accredited hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatric, urology, orthopedics, cardiology 8-bedded critical care and dental services along with 24/7 emergency services with 45,000+ visits annually.
