Job Summary

The Maternity Department at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) is looking for a full-time family physician to join their collaborative team. The department works closely with obstetricians and several midwifery groups. With approximately 3,100 births per year, the team is actively involved in many of them. The facility includes a Level 3 nursery, nine labor rooms, and 30 maternity beds, with caesarean sections performed in the main operating room.

The department is well supported by a local Diabetes Education Program and the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) group. RCH is a highly desired location for family practice residents, and we work closely with them both on call and in our clinics. There is an urgent need within our community, with opportunities to share established office space. The anticipated start date is December 1, 2024, or earlier.
