Evaluation Lead, Nurse Patient Ratios, Chief of Nursing

Reporting to the Director of Professional Practice, Nurse Patient Ratios, the Evaluation Lead designs and implements evaluation frameworks, provides expert appraisals, consultations and recommendations on clinical and program delivery models, conducts and/or coordinates data analysis, performance measures, research methodologies, and evaluative studies; provides advice and consultation for the Minimum Nurse Patient Ratio (mNPR) initiative. This pioneering project, in collaboration with the BC Nurses' Union and the Ministry of Health, aims to establish the first minimum nurse-to-patient ratios in Canada, ensuring optimal patient care across clinical settings in British Columbia.

o Expert knowledge of research methodologies, principles and procedures
o Expert knowledge of performance outcome measurement tools and techniques and program evaluation (e.g. complex adaptive systems, development evaluation)
o Ability to use advanced microcomputer software such as databases and spreadsheets, and statistical computer software for analyses of complex data sets
o Ability to function independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team, and the ability to work well under pressure with limited supervision.

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time
Wage: $88,990 - $127,923 /year The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate's relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.
