The Specialized Pediatrics—Health Complexity portfolio is a provincial program of BC Children's Hospital that provides outpatient and community-focused care for children living with chronic, complex health conditions (birth to 19 years). Specifically, this position will support BCCH Complex Care and Nursing Support Services (NSS) in-home respite. A key focus for the Health Complexity portfolio is partnering with families and developing strong collaborative relationships with programs and professionals in other health authorities, ministries and community services including academic institutions to optimize care and best practices.
This role offers unique opportunities to engage with multiple sectors and connections across a broad network of services and service providers in the delivery of care. This position requires an experienced, extraordinary, operational, and clinical leader with demonstrated leadership progression. Strong strategic planning, systems-level thinking, values-based leadership, and quality management and negotiation skills are foundational to this position as is a command and application of professional practice standards across contexts. Inspirational and collaborative leadership that promotes teamwork and integrated service delivery across sectors will be strong assets for this role as well as a demonstrated understanding of the clinical and psychosocial complexities of the client population.

Wage: $11,3195 - $162,718 /year
