This position is for our Red River Place Home, located in Selkirk, Manitoba.
What you'll be doing
Plan, organize, direct, and monitor the operational activities of the Nursing Department
Establish and implement goals, objectives and policies that follow regulatory requirements and are aligned with the organization's values.
Apply a resident-centered care approach that focuses on relationships and actively engages residents, families, and extended team members
Promote a positive and safe work environment for staff and residents
What you bring
Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a health care setting
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the long-term care sector
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the applicable Provincial licensing body is required as well as the successful completion of Nursing Unit Administrator Program
Current C.P.R. designation is required
