Digital Health focuses on supporting clinical and business systems as the foundation for leveraging electronic data in the delivery of health-care services.
We have opportunities for up to three director information and communications technology (ICT) services, who will build and manage a provincially-focused team with a culture of client service to provide ICT services for the public health-care system including Shared Health, six service delivery organizations and other applicable health care partners. As these roles are provincial in nature, the work location for each position is flexible within Manitoba and will be made in consultation with the successful candidates. Each director will take a primary role in a key area of ICT services: access, hosting, workplace services, to support Manitoba’s Clinical and Preventive Services Plan and achieve the outcomes defined in the approved ICT strategic services plan and annual operating plan.
Reporting to the executive director ICT services, each director ICT services has direct authority and accountability for client satisfaction, budget management, and operational policy development related to the assigned area of ICT services: access, hosting, workplace services. The successful candidates will lead organizational change, ensure ongoing maintenance of technologies and related equipment, lead service management for the service area, support and manage vendor contracts, and ensure effective services are provided to support overall organizational and health-care system requirements. The successful candidate’s leadership, professionalism, diplomacy, and continuous improvement orientation will be evident as they collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide excellent customer service, identify system solutions, and support an integrated province-wide health-care system that provides multiculturally respectful health services delivery.
