Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager - Diagnostic Services or Charge Technologist, performs established routine or complex duties assigned including peer/trainee functional instruction relative to Cardiology.

Experience

  • Current experience preferred.

Victoria General Hospital has a mandate to provide service in French; preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Must be a graduate of approved training who has attained certification by and is currently registered or registry eligible with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (C.S.C.T.).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to effectively: read, write legibly, follow oral and written instructions; relate on an interpersonal basis with others; perform standard operating procedures relative to the position.
  • Ability to deal capably and ethically with a variety of personnel, patients, family, physicians, nurses and students.
  • Must have clerical aptitude and ability to effectively maintain records and reports related to the position.
  • Acceptable deportment.
