Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Charge Technologist, Radiology, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the General Duty Technologist is responsible for performing and assisting radiologists and other physicians in the performance of radiological procedures; participating in student teaching program; assisting with orientation of registered technologists; the performance of assigned area functions; and performing other related duties as directed.

  • Must be a member of the CAMRT in good standing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Good knowledge of radiographic theory and practical.
  • Demonstrated evidence of teaching skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to retain patient information on a confidential basis.
