JOB TITLE: MUSIC THERAPIST
HOURS OF WORK: PART TIME (3 SHIFTS PER WEEK 9:30 am - 4:30 pm) .5 EFT

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager of Resident Experience the Simkin Centre's Music Therapist is a compassionate individual who provides our residents with musical therapy programming including 1:1, small and large group sessions. Session opportunities offered by the Music Therapist will include singing, playing a wide range of instruments to offer opportunity for passive listening, and providing participatory programs that include playing, singing, and creating music.
