Shared Health, together in partnership with Klinic Community Health, have created a position to provide onsite Trauma Counselling for clients of the MOST program. The Manitoba Opioid Support and Treatment (MOST) Program supports individuals who are dependent on opioids by prescribing medication that reduces the symptoms of withdrawal as well as providing counselling and other supports. Services would be offered at Shared Health's River Point Centre site at 146 Magnus Avenue.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a part of the MOST team, the counsellor will be included as a member of the interdisciplinary team to deliver trauma support and brief treatment counselling in both short- and longer-term models of engagement. As well, the MOST trauma counsellor will be accessible for consultation processes, and clinical case feedback and support in treatment planning alongside clients and practitioners. While working exclusively at the River Point Centre, the counsellor will be supported through Klinic Community Health Clinical Supervision models (both individual and peer).

SALARY RANGE $34.836 per hour - $45.462 per hour
