Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, detailed-orientated, energetic, multi-tasking individual to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in volunteer program management, project management, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Who you are
You have worked in volunteer program management or related experience, including supervisory experience for a minimum of two years. You have experience coordinating programs in a fast-paced progressive environment. You have database management and marketing skills and an advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications.
Your education includes an undergraduate degree or diploma. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.
What you will do
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for:
- Overseeing the volunteer program and evaluating its success
- Recruiting, supervising, training and supporting volunteers
- Supporting the staff who work with volunteers
- Participating in the development and expansion of volunteer base and volunteer opportunities
- Coordinating the delivery of specialized training programs for volunteers
- Ensuring volunteers receive recognition
- Assisting the Regional Manager with strategic initiatives
- Supporting the regional Volunteer Resource team
