Aramark is currently seeking a Dietary Worker to join the team at Labrador West Health Center! This is a part-time position with the possibility of leading to full-time. The starting wage for this position is $20.85 an hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook variety of food in accordance with menu, using grill, ovens, and fryers
• Assist with service of food to the residents and guests of Labrador West Health Center
• Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers
• Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
• Wash and sanitize component dishes and utensils
• Record temperatures, label products in accordance with FIFO, complete waste log and cleaning log
• Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures including occupational health and safety and food safety
• Maintain the privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer by observing client confidentiality and by closely adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• May perform other job duties as required

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience as Cook, Line Cook, or Grill Cook considered an asset
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Must be flexible, as evening and weekend work is required
• Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying min. 25lbs
