About the Opportunity

The Clinical Performance Consultant supports assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based guidelines and best practices for clinical care ensuring that changes to clinical processes are tested and evaluated relative to reducing care variability (increasing reliability), adherence to evidence-based best practice, and improving outcomes. The position works with clinicians to provide tools to allow them to examine their clinical performance relative to peers and relative to best practice. Program leaders monitor performance in their clinical areas of focus and work with clinicians under their purview to help them get to higher levels of performance. This position will work in the area of Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease Management.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in analytics, informatics or health related field required, Master's Degree preferred. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience
  • The following would be considered an asset:
    • Registration with relevant health or professional discipline/college or association
    • Certified Health Executive designation
  • 5 years of relevant experience with progressive accountabilities for standards development; evaluation and implementation; and adoption of best practices to deliver high quality services required
  • Knowledge and skills in the areas of analytic tools, applications and systems of support.
  • Advanced knowledge of health care systems and clinical care areas
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and decision skills
  • Expert knowledge to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
  • Evidence-based collaborative problem solving of complex multifaceted issues
  • Understands the principles of project management and demonstrated ability to create and lead complex work teams
  • Expertise in leading complex change
  • Collaboration, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data and monitor quality and performance indicators and benchmarks
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Permanent, full-time position, 75 hrs bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$37.61 - $47.01 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
