Looking for a unique summer experience that combines professional development and mentorship with meaningful work? The Nova Scotia Department of Justice is hiring for summer employment opportunities. Positions can be across different Divisions within the Department of Justice and different program areas of focus.
The Department of Justice is responsible for administering the province’s justice system. We support peoples’ rights, safety and access to justice through the department’s programs and services. We also provide legal services to government and its departments and agencies.
We oversee policing and public safety and manage the court system and correctional services. We also provide victim services to the victims of crimes, enforce court-ordered and spousal support payments and manage the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner service.

These opportunities are open to full-time students, including those who are graduating from Grade 12 this year, those attending community and professional colleges, and university students, who are currently enrolled and returning to school in Fall 2025 or the next applicable semester.

Salary Range: $18.22 - $29.69 Hourly
