About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and visionary IMIT Digital Solutions Director - People Services to lead the charge in driving forward our People Services strategy through digital transformation.

As the IMIT Digital Solutions Director - People Services, you will be the strategic leader driving digital transformation across our People Services and Human Resources functions. Your expertise in digital solutions will help drive efficiencies across HR processes, enhance employee experience, and deliver data-driven insights that support our workforce strategy. You will work closely with senior leaders, IT teams, and HR professionals to align digital solutions with our organizational goals and vision for the future.

You'll have the opportunity to influence large-scale digital initiatives, manage cutting-edge IMIT solutions, and drive continuous improvement in how we manage and empower our workforce. Your leadership will be key in creating a seamless digital experience that enhances both employee engagement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital transformation strategy for People Services, optimizing HR processes, improving employee experience, and driving workforce efficiency through innovative technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment between digital solutions and organizational goals, ensuring that technology empowers our people and improves overall workforce performance.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative IMIT solutions for talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning & development, and performance management.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance on digital transformation initiatives, including HRIS systems, self-service portals, employee experience platforms, and data analytics solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing workforce data and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process optimization and technology adoption.
  • Ensure effective change management and user adoption of digital solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability across the People Services function.
  • Stay ahead of trends in HR technology, people analytics, and digital transformation, leveraging this knowledge to introduce cutting-edge solutions.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration). A master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Certifications: HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, CHRP, or certifications in IT project management, digital transformation, or change management (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CPHIMS, CHE) are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in digital transformation, with a focus on People Services, HRIS, and talent management solutions.
    • Proven leadership experience in directing and overseeing the development and implementation of IMIT solutions in the HR or People Services domain.
    • Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering, and optimizing IMIT strategies and services within complex, multi-location organizations with numerous partners and stakeholders.
    • Significant management experience in IT and People Services, including expertise in HR technology solutions, policy development, and IMIT service delivery.
    • Experience leading large, transformative digital projects within a complex organizational environment, particularly in healthcare or public sector organizations.
    • Expertise in serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on IMIT matters and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
    • Experience working within unionized environments, with strong skills in collaboration, negotiation, and influencing outcomes.

    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
    • High competence in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams.
    • Proven ability to manage and lead complex projects, utilizing project management methodologies to deliver results on time and within budget.
    • Knowledge of healthcare organizations, People Services (HR), and the health sector is highly valued.
    • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, with a strong commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and social inclusion.
    • Expertise in financial planning, budget management, and resource allocation for large scale technology initiatives.

Hours

Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$56.95 - $71.19 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
