About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Program Manager PM CoE, OPOR Program, the OPOR Project Associate, IM/IT Project Services, the IM/IT Project Associate is responsible for providing a high level of organization and support for decision making and portfolio and project disciplines, requiring extensive knowledge of both concepts and associated methodologies The tasks performed by the Project Associate are essential to OPOR in order to provide accurate and timely data for decision-making by senior management and day-to-day project delivery.

The OPOR Project Associate works closely with management and project managers to support all project activities. In this full-time professional role, multiple project managers, directors, departments or even project offices maybe supported. The OPOR Project Associate is responsible for following and adhering to standard policies and procedures and prescribed guidelines and industry standards when completing duties. This position involves varied work within general project management procedures, which requires judgment and initiative and is expected to be able to balance a heavy workload and multiple competing tasks.

The OPOR Project Associate coordinates and prepares documentation, communications, agendas, meeting minutes, decision requests and various logs, contributes to the requirements, risk, schedule and change control processes in support of the IM/IT Program Manager, IM/IT Project Managers and OPOR Project Owners.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of project coordination/administration experience, preferably within IT / Healthcare
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset
  • Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or organizational change management an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to generate innovative, practical solutions to challenging situations
  • Demonstrated openness to change and ability to manage complex, ever-changing environments
  • High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High organization and strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of the full project life-cycle and Project Management concepts
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Four (4) Long-assignment, Full-time Positions; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
  • Approximately 36 months (assignment length subject to change)

Compensation and Incentives

$29.91- $37.38 Hourly
