The Role: Executive Director

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will inspire, engage, and empower a small yet passionate team. You will provide operational, fiscal, and strategic leadership to guide the organization towards its vision of community leadership. Working closely with the Board, you will help to shape policies, programs, and strategies, ensuring that Inclusion Clare continues to advance its mission.

You will lead a team of over 30 staff members who provide support services to 34 residents across two Adult Residential Homes and participants in our Day Program. As Executive Director, you will foster respectful and effective relationships with community partners, funding agencies, and staff. Additionally, you will oversee social enterprises, administrative and human resource functions, quality improvement initiatives, and sound fiscal management in accordance with the Homes for Special Care Act.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate holds a university degree, preferably in human services, and has five or more years of senior leadership experience. You must have strong business and financial acumen, including proficiency with Sage software, and be comfortable managing budgets, programs, and general operations. Experience working with individuals with diverse abilities in the not-for-profit
sector is preferred. Fluency in both English and French is required.

Compensation:

Inclusion Clare offers a competitive starting salary of $110,000, along with a comprehensive pension and benefits package.
