We are looking for an experienced dental professional to join our growing organization as a Recruitment Advisor! This role will be fully remote, but you must reside in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick focus and manage the Maritimes region.

Job Overview:

The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for the provision of a professional, quality talent acquisition service by performing a range of duties within the full cycle recruitment. This includes (but is not limited to): job requisition creation, job posting strategy (including preparing and posting job ads), applicant management, sourcing candidates, resume screening, short-listing and assessing candidates in conjunction with the hiring managers and the preparation (and presentation) of employment agreements.

The role will also assist with developing and implementing ‘new hire’ onboarding process, driving ad hoc projects such as continuous improvement of our ATS processes, as well as monthly/quarterly/yearly data reporting (via Excel) as needed.

The Recruitment Advisor will drive to help champion and facilitate a ‘best practice’ recruitment portfolio as well as to identify – and secure – the best available candidates for our vacancies, with a strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in all HR related work.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To manage the recruitment cycle, including job requisition creation, job posting strategy, candidate sourcing, and resume screening.
  • Advise hiring managers on the recruitment process, helping them develop tailored recruitment strategies, define hiring needs, and optimize selection procedures.
  • Enhance ATS processes through continuous improvement, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment experience for both candidates and the business.
  • Source candidates strategically using platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, and innovative tools to ensure we attract diverse talent for hard-to-fill or urgent roles.
  • Assist in crafting compelling job ads and interview materials to ensure a professional, transparent, and engaging candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with external partners (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) to maintain effective and responsive recruitment campaigns.
  • Support and partner with HR and Payroll teams to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance with all company policies and regulations.
  • Identify new recruitment channels and innovative strategies to improve candidate engagement and recruitment success.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Manager and build relationships with the educational institutions to attract top talent and engage with future graduates.
  • Provide recruitment analytics and reports to identify trends, predict future hiring needs, and drive continuous improvements in the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and best practices throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in a dental care role (e.g., Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistant, or Dental Office Management).
  • Experience in recruitment or collaborating with dental schools is a significant asset.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, ATS tools (e.g., ADP), and other recruitment platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset, allowing you to reach a broader candidate pool.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • An innovative mindset, always looking for new ways to enhance recruitment processes and improve candidate experience.
  • A passion for people and a strong customer-service orientation, with an understanding of the unique hiring needs of the dental profession.
