About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President, Zone Operations and working closely with the zone executive team, the Executive Director, Health Services is responsible for the coordination, management, and leadership of clinical and program within the management zone. The role will lead the development, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring or health service and operational plans which allow these site and services to deliver safe and high-quality care. The Executive Director, Health Services is accountable to develop high performing teams as well as utilize resources in an efficient and sustainable manner.

The Executive Director is responsible for the coordination and oversight of service integration and issues management; communications and community relations, including liaison with the foundations and auxiliaries, facilitation, planning and operation leadership and health, access and flow, safety and wellness, fire safety and emergency planning/response.

This Executive Director of Health Service position will be one of four Executive Directors with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic health services across the zone.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-secondary education in health-related discipline, health administration, business administration or related field
  • Master's degree in health or public administration field or related field required.
  • Registration with relevant health or professional discipline/college or association
  • Certified Health Executive designation is an asset
  • Seven (7) years of relevant senior leadership experience and progressive accountabilities for financial, strategic and people management to deliver high quality services within a complex, integrated service model provided throughout several locations within multiple partners and stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership, relationship building, organizational and decision skills in support of patient, family and client centered services.
  • Expert knowledge to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial management.
  • Understands the principles of project management and demonstrated ability to create and lead complex work teams.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills that are responsive to audience needs.
  • Cultural competence.
  • Collaboration, negotiation, and persuasion skills are paramount as this role requires the engagement of internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

$81.25 - $101.56 hourly ($158,437 - $198,042 annually)

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
