Reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager, the Registered Pharmacy Technician participates in the provision of safe, competent, patient & care-partner centered, ethical care, ensuring the goals and needs of the patient are prioritized and individualized. This role includes activities focused on pharmacy outpatient services such as preparing and packaging medications, supporting prescription order entry, dispensing, and performing technical product checking. Responsibilities also include working with a variety of pharmacy information systems, inventory management including supporting outpatient billing processes, generating reports for audit purposes, and participating in quality programs and patient safety initiatives.
