About the Organization | The Strengthening Transitions in Care Lab is based at IWK Health. The overall mission of the research lab is to develop and evaluate interventions to improve transitions in care for patients and families. Using a collaborative, patient-centred approach to understand how children and families navigate transitions in care, our research aims to improve outcomes and lead to sustainable health system changes. This research project investigates how inter- and intra-provincial healthcare policies in the Canadian Maritime provinces impact children with medical complexity (CMC) and their families. |
Job Summary | Reporting to the Research Coordinator and study leadership team, the Research Assistant (RA) will support the research team by assisting with administrative tasks, data collection, and analysis. The RA will also help coordinate research activities, including regulatory submissions, environmental scanning, and team communication. |
