About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Cancer Care, EZ, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director by effectively coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Director's office. The position coordinates all administrative activities, establishes administrative procedures and guidelines and acts as a liaison with the administrative assistants within the portfolio and across the health authority. This position provides additional support to individuals, committees or working groups as assigned, as well as supports other members of the Cancer Care Leadership Group as required.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Graduate of a recognized office administration program/business program/secretarial program.
  • Minimum of one year of experience providing administrative office support OR a combination of equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of computers required, including Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Database Programs.
  • High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail and self-discipline/focus required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to respectfully work with a variety of inter-professional team members required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills.

Hours

  • Long Assignment Full-time Position; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximately 12 months

Compensation and Benefits

$21.09 - $26.36 Hourly
