Associate Physicians are licensed physicians employed by NSH to provide primary clinical care within the CHIP Program as physician extenders. Associate Physicians will assist in the provision of care under the authority of the Program Director and supervision of a Clinical Supervisor (staff physician with privileges within the department in which the AP will be practicing).
Participation in the on-call schedule is required and will be assigned by the Program Director, completed by the Associate Physician and supported by the Clinical Supervisor.

Performance evaluations will be conducted bi-annually by the Program Director and shared with the Zone Medical Executive Director, Medical Affairs Leads and CPSNS. Failure to meet performance standards will result in termination.
