About the Opportunity

The Manager of Planning, Development & System Performance, is responsible for planning, resourcing, monitoring, and evaluating the organizational projects, initiatives, and activities related to integration and continued development of the organizational design and delivery models for the Zone Operations, working collaboratively with members of the leadership team and reporting to the Clinical Transformation Director.


The Clinical Transformation team provides leadership and oversight to the development of implementation plans and activities related to zone transformation, organizational design, and clinical planning that will allow programs and services within the Zone to achieve successful transition in keeping with organizational priorities and approved process improvements.

Working with the Director and as part of the senior team, this individual will lead the development and implementation of strategic and health services plans, goals, and objectives to support the delivery of zone operations and clinical transformation priorities services and the enablers required to support a strong health system using an evidence-based approach to planning that supports excellence in care delivery, improvement in health outcomes, achievement of standards, and goals established by zone operations and clinical transformation.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline is required
  • Master's Degree in a health-related discipline, health administration, business administration or related subject would be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience and responsibilities in a leadership or management position.
  • Eligibility for registration with relevant health discipline/college or association
  • Certified Health Executive designation is an asset
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP) preferred or suitable equivalent of qualification and experience preferred
  • Experience in program and service development, implementation, and evaluation required
  • Experience in financial planning
  • Experience within a health-related environment preferred
  • Experience in a zone operations and clinical transformation priorities/community-based setting preferred
  • Sound knowledge and skillful application of population health approaches, community development, health promotion, disease prevention and management.
  • High degree of independent decision-making, self-direction, motivation, change management knowledge and team building/leadership skills.
  • Ability to critically analyse evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Strategic planning and systems thinking
  • Ability to analyse and interpret statistical data and monitor quality and performance indicators and benchmarks
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholder.
  • Possesses a sound knowledge of management and a working knowledge of technology information systems
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Permanent, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$48.17 - $60.21 Hourly
