About the Role

As the Clinical Manager - Child and Youth Development Services (CYDS), you will play a key role on FIREFLY's Leadership Team, reporting to the Director of Service Excellence and Partnerships. In this position you will:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of child and youth development services across our regional service area.
  • Supervise and support a team of dedicated clinicians and staff, promoting professional growth and clinical excellence.
  • Oversee program operations including scheduling, performance monitoring, and service coordination.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and client-centred care.
  • Support integrated, cross-program service delivery through collaborative planning and partnership development.
  • Represent FIREFLY in community planning tables and initiatives that enhance access to services for children and youth.

This full-time position may be based at any FIREFLY location. Some evening work and regular travel throughout the region are required.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in child and youth development services or related area.
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Professional registration with a relevant regulatory body (preferred).

Key Competencies

  • Strong team leadership, supervision, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to support data-informed service planning and quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in FIREFLY's Management Competency Framework, including Client Focus, Emotional Intelligence, and Results Orientation.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centred care.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
