Kick Start therapy Inc has immediate requirement for Full time BCBA position. The BCBA is part of the multidisciplinary team to support pediatric clients. We provide therapy at our center and in-home based on client preference.

Key Responsibilities: 
The Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst “BCBA” creates and supervises individualized programming and behaviour reduction plans for children/youth with autism based upon the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis. The BCBA will help to build capacity to Autism Therapists by implementing and supporting best practices, ethical decision making and providing consultation and expertise in the area of ABA practices and instructional methods within a variety of contexts. Provides clinical supervision and mentorship for Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) candidates, as appropriate. Conduct therapy session as required.

Please note Kick Star Therapy is introducing Artificial Intelligent Humanoid in behaviour therapy sessions. Training will be provided to right candidate to use humanoid in therapy sessions.

Skill Requirements

  • Designing a treatment plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Actively engaging clients, families, caregivers, and therapists to address client-centered goals.
  • Actively engaging in client/family and therapist coaching.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the intervention, client's response, and progress towards achieving goals.
  • Providing evidence-based assessment and intervention

Education: 

Must have Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Experience: 
Preferred: Minimum 2 years providing ABA therapy to children/youth with ASD with at least 1 year’s clinical experience in assessment, treatment planning and monitoring, consultation, and parent training. Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups as a team and experience in providing staff training and consultation.
