About the Role

An Account Supervisor at Operatic Agency is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of their brands and clients, with a focus on executional excellence. The Account Supervisor supports the Account Director in shaping and implementing strategic initiatives, developing project briefs, and overseeing their Account Managers. This role is pivotal in maintaining and growing client relationships, ensuring project success, and contributing to the agency’s goals.

The Account Supervisor will report to the Account Director and is focused on managing multiple client accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and fostering collaborative relationships. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about marketing strategy and delivering exceptional results in a dynamic agency environment.

What You’ll be Doing

Client Ownership

  • Maintains key client contact and manages day-to-day communications.
  • Oversees the delivery of various initiatives, including (but not limited to) product launches, events, and digital campaigns.
  • Contribute to the financial health of client accounts by monitoring budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for account growth and new business within existing client portfolios.
  • Acts as the liaison between the client and internal teams.

Technical Expert

  • Expertly handles tactical planning and execution, overseeing daily timeline management from the initiation to the completion of each project.
  • Develops and manages project briefs and budget estimates with senior oversight.
  • Ensures creative assets and tactics align with their brand’s vision and project brief.
  • Familiarity with CRMs like Veeva, including supporting the management of promotional materials through MLR review.

Team Development

  • Collaborates with the internal team to ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Provide guidance and support to Account Managers, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
  • Help train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Process Implementation & Improvement

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and agency profitability.
  • Implement operational systems, including maintaining notes, contact reports, status reports, project briefs, SOWs, financial tracking, and work-back schedules.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations, aligning with the agency’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Proactively address client concerns to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of agency experience in an account supervisor role.
  • Understanding of the Canadian Pharmaceutical Advertising Landscape and its Regulatory bodies (i.e., PAAB, ASC).
  • Self-motivation and the ability to independently manage projects in a fast-paced agency environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to client challenges.
  • A drive to learn new skills and expand your expertise.

Nice to Have

  • Experience overseeing and managing digital products (i.e. web development)
  • Experience or certifications in email marketing
