Our office is conveniently located at 346 Upper Ottawa Street A in Hamilton.


Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm

1 to 2 Friday's a month: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

1 Saturday a month: 9:00 am to 2:00

Responsibilities:

Patient Communication:

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and accurate information is relayed to patients.

  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, fees, and insurance coverage.

  • Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Handle patient complaints and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Insurance Verification and Claims Processing:

  • Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.

  • Obtain pre-authorizations for dental procedures as required.

  • Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims.

  • Monitor and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement.

  • Assist patients with understanding their insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.

Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage patient registration and data entry accurately.

  • Maintain patient records and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Collect co-payments and other fees from patients.

  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Work effectively as part of a cohesive dental team.

  • Communicate openly and professionally with dentists, hygienists, and other staff members.

  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as inventory management or office supply ordering.


About You:
• Minimum 1 year of administration experience
• Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset
