1.Accountable for the Ecommerce merchandise profit and loss management and ecommerce category financial results relating to D40 including short-term and long-term planning, as well as proactive/reactive management to ensure forecasts, sales, co-op collection, market share growth, gross profit and inventory targets/budgets and pricing are met or exceeded. Communicates/reports Ecommerce results and Project milestone status to appropriate cross-functional partners. Review pre/post launch/milestone financial analysis and trouble shoot / solution / root cause issues as they arise.
2. Develop Ecommerce D40 growth pillars , including tracking and solutioning with cross functional teams and merchandising team for gaps to target on operations targets, as well as 1P/2P/3P assortment strategies, substitutions, subscribe to save, and third party platform execution and expansion. The use and review of multiple data sources will be required inclusive of management at item level schedule 3 , schedule 2 , unscheduled , and temperature control traits that tie to different process or actions.
3. Visiting Walmart stores and working cloely with compliance to understand omni picking in department and in backrooms in order to meet regulatory requirements and inform standard operating procedures for store operations, omni picking and tech protocols will be required. Proactively communicate ongoing updates to leadership and their respective cross-functional teams to allow for appropriate planning and execution.
4. Accountable for new ecommerce item and ecom event promotional forecasts. Work / Lead merch team to expand online only assortment inclusive of working with cross functional teams to manage aging of online inventory, item deletes, and develop online pricing recommendations to be competitive and deliver value to customers. This is inclusive of developing exit strategies to ensure adjustments can and will be made as necessary.
5. Prepare and lead ecom financial reviews and track additions to the Fulfillment Centre modulars within monthly deadlines, and trouble shoot vendor to distributor to fulfillment center timelines to in stock / availability and presub are maintained and optimized. Included are monthly reviews that include analysis of contributors/ root causes to gap to plan, actions taken to close the gap , and resources required to meet financial commitments
6. Provide coaching, and direction to Ecommerce analyst . Coach / Educate other merchants on D40 Pharmacy ecommerce requirements as required.
