Our Exciting Opportunity


The Ericsson Radio Product Team is responsible for all aspects of development of the next generation radio products: systemization, design, integration, and verification of multi-standard radios. Radio Product Integration Team which works of integrating hardware and software designs to validate the performance and functionality of new radio products.


The Radio Integrator will develop the radio products that will take Ericsson and our customers forward into 5G. The position is integral in the design, integration, test, and manufacturing of our radio products. Interacting with our hardware, software, integration, verification, and factory teams, you will enable the delivery of our Radio portfolio by taking responsibility for the functional and radio-frequency performance validation of new products, by participating in planning the hardware/software integration activities needed in the project and driving the execution of those activities across many radio design teams including hardware design and software design as well as other design teams outside of radio if applicable.

You will:

  • Connect multiple digital and analog designs into a product prototype, and integrate that product's hardware and software
  • Be responsible for the functional and radio-frequency performance validation of new products
  • Analyze new product design and its performance requirements
  • Troubleshoot radio solutions to identify design or performance shortcomings
  • Prepare lab environment including both hardware and software components
  • Define test coverage required for integration and describe how it will be performed
  • Implement test and validation methods for efficient integration coverage and develop all calibration and performance optimization procedures
  • Define robustness and stress test required for new product
  • Analyze results and drive radio updates, perform error detection, and report findings
  • Perform statistical analysis of measurement data
  • Work collaboratively with the design teams to define integration activities needed for each radio project (eg board bring up, carrier activation, closed loop DPD, feature integration).
  • Help ensure dependencies needed to start each integration activity are met when needed.


To be successful in the role you must have:

  • BSc or Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
  • Proven understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g. GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NR, NB IoT)
  • Knowledge of RF hardware and system design
  • Experience with basic lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts in one or more of these languages: Agilent VEE, LabVIEW, C#, Python, and MATLAB
  • Greater than 5 years' experience in industry
  • Greater than 3 years' experience working with Ericsson products; understanding of Ericsson hardware design and software design, including development processes
  • Proficient English skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and keen interest in troubleshooting systems
  • Energy and drive to thrive in a dynamic product development environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including some team leadership experience.
