About this opportunity:

At Ericsson, we invite you to join us in the role of Radio Software DevEnv Developer doing agile development and support for the Continuous Integration and Infrastructure (CI&I) used in 5G radio software development. We follow Lean and Agile methodology and ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

What you will do:

  • Design and maintain the automated continuous integration environment, including frameworks and tools, for Ericsson's existing and future radio products.
  • Contribute to the resolution of continuous integration failure issues, until resolution
  • Provide tools and automated reports for radio software developers to ensure good visualization of what is going on during automated build, delivery, and testing.
  • Ensure radio software developers are educated sufficiently on all continuous integration processes and procedures. Document such processes and procedures as requested.
  • Drive innovative improvements to the development environment and ways of working, to make radio software development easier, faster, and more efficient.

The skills you bring:

  • B.Sc., or M. Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of working experience in working with radio software development, Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins or similar scheduling utility.
  • 2+ years of building and supporting C/C++ applications or troubleshooting SW component continuous integration tools in a complex, multi-node infrastructure.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, to be able to tackle a wide variety of problems of varying complexity quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience in using Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in programming or scripting in one or more of Shell (bash/tsch), Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Groovy.
  • Experience with source-code management tools like GIT /Gerrit
  • Experience in Agile and Lean methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • HTML, XML, JavaScript, and JSON knowledge
  • Experience in Cloud Native applications, Microservices, Micro-frontend, and Data workflows would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management and Software Development Life Cycles would be an asset.
  • Experience with Modular Software, software reuse, shared libraries, and make files and SW development in general would be an asset.
  • Experience in automation of build and delivery environments using Jenkins or similar scheduling utility for implementing continuous integration pipelines would be an asset.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
