You will work within one of the four Employment and Social Services sites to work within a multi-disciplinary setting
providing support and services to families, couples and individuals who are homeless. You will be assessing eligibility and
coordination of emergency temporary shelter to Ottawa's homeless sector. You will assist clients with various applications,
direct clients to appropriate resources, provide assistance and explain procedure for shelter eligibility. You will respond to
phone inquiries, provide client information for statical purposes, and maintain client information within multiple databases.
You are the first point of contact for the Ontario Works case workers for supporting client needs.
Completion of Grade 12
Community college diploma or university degree in a related field is desirable
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a social services setting
