What would my role be?

Reporting to the Chief technologist, you will:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures at a competent technical level without direct supervision from the radiologist;
  • Maintain and document high quality images;
  • Practice good patient care;
  • Be accountable to the radiologist for the clinical work performed.

How do I qualify?

Required:

  • Three (3) year Community College Diploma in from an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
  • Minimum of one (1) year of hand on experience, in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Intra-cavity, Abdomen, Small parts.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registration with College of Medical Radiological Technologists of Ontario

Preferred:

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Advanced medical terminology
  • Able to work independently without supervision
  • Good physical dexterity
