Hourly Rate: $57.08 – 70.68

About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join Lanark County Mental Health (LCMH). In this hybrid role, you will serve as a vital resource to our organization, providing primary care services to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.

As the Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid manner, with designated clinic days in our office and mobile work to bring primary care to those unable to visit in person. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams to integrate physical and mental health care, ensuring comprehensive and person-centered services.

In this role, you will conduct health assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions, and develop tailored care plans. Your strong clinical skills, compassionate approach, and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders will be essential. Effective communication and collaboration with diverse clients and stakeholders will be key to delivering seamless care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Registration in the Extended Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Masters degree in Nursing (MScN) from an accredited educational institution.

Certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (Canada) is an asset.

Minimum five years relevant/recent experience directly related to the provision of mental health and/or addictions services required, community mental health setting preferred.

Certification in First Aid and CPR.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

Crisis Prevention and Intervention training.

Member of NPAO is an asset

Completion of CAMH’s Opioid Use Disorder Treatment (OUDT) Course within first 6 months of start date.
