About Us:

Crescent Oral Surgery is a busy, fast paced Oral and Maxillofacial surgical clinic providing trusted care to our patients. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work at our Richmond Hill location.

*Regular travel to our Toronto and Aurora practices required.*

Schedule:

  • 28 to 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Hours vary based on the need of the business

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of equipment and medications for surgical procedures
  • Review patients' history and conduct patient assessment
  • IV insertion and administration of medications
  • Patient monitoring during sedation
  • Post-operative recovery and discharge
  • Patient care calls
  • Surgical assisting
  • Maintain medication and equipment inventory


About You:

  • Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required
  • Candidates must be currently registered with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
  • Previous oral surgery experience is required
  • Previous experience in surgery, emergency room, ICU, PACU or critical care an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently and as a part of a team within nursing scope of practice
